What is a therapy book club?

This group, facilitated by a certified clinical counsellor, offers the benefits of individual therapy in a supportive group setting.

In this format, you are welcome to share personal experiences to your own comfort level – nothing is required, and there may be days when you feel more comfortable just listening to the discussion.

Group therapy can be a place to…
  • reflect and be heard
  • find commonalities and benefit from feelings of connection
  • consider differing perspectives
  • be challenged, supported and inspired
Key agenda topics for the sessions:
  • identifying core values and how to align with them
  • being with difficult feelings and experiences
  • befriending ourselves
  • contemplative practices and tools
  • learning to live with authenticity
  • holding on vs. letting go
  • spaciousness, openness
  • acceptance; what can and can’t be controlled
  • how messages we received long ago are still affecting us today
  • loneliness; the power of connection and community
  • expanding our ideas of what is possible
