Growing up in the Kootenays, Haley came to find comfort in the mountains, making the North Shore feel like home. Her own experience with growth and healing, and a deep desire to support others, brought Haley to therapy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and has spent time working and volunteering in both the health care and mental health fields.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Haley sees clients from teenhood to adulthood and supports them with stress, anxiety, relationships, self-worth, perfectionism, body image, and life transitions.
Outside of the therapy space, Haley finds joy in exploring the North Shore trails, immersing herself in new experiences, and spending meaningful time with friends and family.
Haley’s approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that life can be both wonderful and challenging, and that there are some things we were never meant to navigate on our own. She believes that connection creates space for growth and healing, and through allowing the therapeutic relationship to guide her work, Haley aims to be a safe place for her clients to land.
To bring in warmth, empathy, and compassion, Haley uses a Person-Centered approach, and will often include work from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment and Relational approaches, and Mindfulness Based Self-Compassion. She strives to meet you where you’re at and help navigate your journey in a supportive and empowering way.
