Eric Hadley

Graduate Counsellor, he/his

Having completed a masters degree in counselling, Eric is currently in the process of becoming a registered clinical counsellor. As a therapist, Eric has experience working with and helping individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of life’s challenges including grief, mental health concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

His work puts a focus on concerns about meaning in life. While Eric believes in the great potential benefits of longer-term therapy, he is passionate about making therapy beneficial from the very first session and brings training and experience in short-term models of therapy.

As a gay man, Eric is passionate about providing queer-affirming therapy and therapy that is supportive and justice-oriented for all of his clients. Generally, Eric’s approach to therapy seeks to not view any thought or feeling as inherently bad or problematic and seeks to help people change their relationships with their thoughts and feelings instead of trying to get rid of them.
