Support group for bereaved parents who have experienced the death of a child at any age from any cause. Bereaved adult siblings and grandparents are welcome. Meets at 7:30 pm on the second Wednesday of each month, in the upper lounge of the North Lonsdale United Church (3380 Lonsdale Avenue). No membership fees.

NORTH SHORE PALLIATIVE AND SUPPORTIVE CARE PROGRAM (NSPSCP)

An interdisciplinary team provides hospice palliative care to the terminally ill and their families in North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Bowen Island, and Lions Bay; a physician referral is required. Services are provided either at home, in hospital, at a care facility, or at the North Shore Hospice. The Bereavement Support Program offers North Shore palliative clients and their families one-on-one professional counselling, with access to community resources for children, teens, and families. Office hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday.
